Natural skincare - lemon & baking soda mask

Less than 5 minute Demo video - Lemon & Baking Soda Mask ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

If you have oily skin or struggle with acne, like me… who knew lemon can help. I have a couple lemon trees in my yard so when they fruit I am definitely trying to use them in every which way. Recently I decided to venture down the path of trying beauty regiments with lemon.

My skin is oily and looking through Pinterest this post stood out with a lot of great masks. First one I decided to try is Lemon &n Baking Soda. Two ingredients I have on hand.

Love it. My face was totally exfoliated and appeared brighter after. This is in my weekly regiment rotation now.

1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of baking soda.

Site I included above suggest to mix lemon juice and baking soda together until you get a pale, runny paste.

NOTE: For me this measurement did not pan out, I had to squeeze in more lemon to mixture to runny paste. I would suggest 1 tbsp. of baking soda or if you want to use 2, you will have enough to also use this mask on your décolletage and neck (I always suggest that effort). Be ready with a wet towel to remove, it is a bit messy.

How to use:

Apply to clean and dry face and let sit for up to 10 minutes. Spread to neck if you like. When done, rinse it off with cold water. Follow your moisturizing routine.

How it works:

It removes excess oil from the skin, cleanses it, and evens out skin tone. It also kills acne-causing bacteria preventing future acne.

Repetitions: Once a week. Suggested not to use before going in the sun, rather evening time at end of day

Caution:  It will tingling because of the reaction between baking soda and lemon juice, but it should not burn. If it burns TAKE OFF IMMEDIATELY.

When I can I use natural ingredients in my skincare routine. Citrus based products are popular and I buy my share so why not use what I have on had. Budget conscious move and time saving too. Be Awesome and Sparkle.
