Day 6 - Street Style
Day 6 of #Monthofsparkle
It is a rainy one here is CA, so this is my take on comfortable rain ready wear. Hoodie is my new addition this year, light weight with sequins, INC brand from Macy’s priced at $59.63 on sale now but I got mine at a weekend sale for $35. Wait for Macy’s sales to get best deals and those in my area normally happen on a weekend.
Pants on the left are HUE faux leather leggings for $48 at Nordstrom. Mine a from last year so a bit of a different style but I love these a bunch. Second version on the right below are Spanx Pebble faux leather leggings at $110… Yes pricey but I am a believer after buying these as my first pair and now I agree that every woman needs a pair in her wardrobe.
Sneakers are last year as well from Nordstrom, and such a great find on a clearance rack, Kenneth Cole just for reference.
My style is California put together and here is what that is. I were what I like and what I feel comfortable in while paying keeping in mind the climate. I am not one that will push the fashion envelope and wear a full winter coat just because. Style to me is whatever fits ones lifestyle and what they enjoy wearing. Separates are majority of my wardrobe and since I work at home comfortable style also. I like to think of new ways to put together looks that I have, or when shopping I think about how I can incorporate a new item. This hoodie of course can go with jeans but I wanted to pair it with my faux leggings and Spanx to and heels/boots as well as sneakers to show how easily the look can go from day to happy hour. Throw on a jacket, change up the hair and I am So Cal casual evening ready.
Add a pair of faux leggings to your closet, then Be Awesome and Sparkle.
